October 8th: John Scanlon Memorial Golf Outing

 

 

WHO: Friends of John are hosting the 1st John F. Scanlon Memorial Golf Outing to benefit the Danny Did Foundation. We will be forever grateful for John’s friendship and for the countless ways he cared for his countless friends and the Danny Did Foundation. Just as he spent his life giving to others, this event will continue that spirit by helping children with epilepsy and their families gain access to seizure detection devices they otherwise could not afford, bringing greater safety, peace of mind, and hope.

WHAT: This 18-hole event will have a shotgun start with a best ball scramble format.

12:00 pm: Check In

12:30 pm: Welcome Remarks

12:40 pm: Shotgun start

5:30 pm: Post event reception on site with a cash bar

 

WHY: John was everyone’s friend from so many different networks. Whenever there was adversity, John offered a simple message that became a lasting source of comfort to so many of us:

 

“You are amongst friends.”

 

Those words reflected the way he lived. Join us to celebrate John’s life and to ensure that more children with epilepsy and their families know they are, indeed, amongst friends.
