Ways To Help

Danny did love to get into the mix of things. Wherever you live, we’d welcome and enjoy your involvement with the Danny Did Foundation. Parents, families, healthcare providers, companies, and organizations are critical to our cause. Please be in touch and let us know that you are ready to get involved and make a difference for people who face epilepsy. If you are interested in any of the ideas below, or a new idea of your own, please use this form to contact us and share your ideas and plans.

Assist Danny Did’s Outreach to Doctors

In effort to share our mission, programs and resources with neurologists we ask for your help. The Danny Did Foundation will mail a package to you that includes Seizure Safety/SUDEP information brochures, Danny Did Foundation pamphlets, and a letter introducing the Danny Did Foundation. We ask that you provide this package, which includes our contact information, to your doctor’s office. If you are interested in helping with this outreach, please click here

Medical Professionals: Help Us Talk About SUDEP

Studies show that patients and their families want to hear about sudden unexpected death in epilepsy (SUDEP). We can provide resources for this conversation. Let’s discuss placement of Danny Did Foundation printed materials in your hospital, emergency room, or doctor’s office. We can mail free materials that cover SUDEP in a responsible way, within the context of all the risks that accompany epilepsy. Having the SUDEP conversation builds doctor-patient trust and an open dialogue, which fosters better care. Please click here to request materials.  Also, please visit our Healthcare Provider Resources page for more information.

Sponsor a Danny Did Event

Event sponsorship is a great way to align your business with supporting families facing epilepsy, health and wellness, and grass roots advocacy.  A partnership will give Danny Did the opportunity to raise the funds needed to support our epilepsy and SUDEP nationwide awareness campaigns, and our grant program which provides seizure detection devices to families in need. Whether you’re a Fortune 500 company, a small business owner, professional organization, or school club, your partnership can help us achieve our goal: to protect kids with epilepsy.  Our special events calendar is always growing and with something around the corner. If you would like to sponsor an event or campaign, please click here to let us know.
