October 11, 2026: The Danny Did Foundation is proud to be an official partner of the Bank of America Chicago Marathon for the 16th straight year. Team Danny Did members participate in the marathon to raise funds and awareness for the Danny Did Foundation. We welcome runners from across the United States and the world to be a part of our team and to join us in advancing awareness of epilepsy and Sudden Unexpected Death in Epilepsy, or SUDEP.

DETAILS: We have coveted charity race entries to distribute to those who run and fundraise for Team Danny Did. See below for details on our Team Danny Did runner benefits.

FUNDRAISING COMMITMENT:

Runners who receive a Team Danny Did charity entry are required to raise no less than $2,500 by October 31, 2026, through outreach to their network of supporters. Because entries are limited, runners are personally responsible for meeting this fundraising commitment. If the $2,500 goal is not met through fundraising, the runner agrees to cover the remaining balance.

Runners who would like to be reimbursed for their Chicago Marathon registration fee of $250 USD must raise a minimum of $2,750. Reimbursements will be issued in November following the race, and only if the $2,750 fundraising goal is fully met.

Runners who have secured their own race entry but would like to run with Team Danny Did are encouraged to set a fundraising goal of $1,250.

How To Apply For a Spot on Team Danny Did:

- Contact Danny Did at [email protected].
- Review and return your signed Team Danny Did Commitment Letter to [email protected].
- Register for the Bank of America Chicago Marathon using the unique link we will provide you.
- Create your online fundraising page.

RACE DAY CHEER STATION: We invite all to cheer our runners on race day Sunday October 11th at the Danny Did cheer station, near course mile 14.5, located at the northwest corner of Adams and Green Streets, which is one block west of Halsted St near Chicago’s Greek Town neighborhood. Bring signs and wear DDF gear!
