Epilepsy Education Expo and Epilepsy Awareness Day at Disneyland (EADDL) is an event for people of all ages with epilepsy, their families and friends, and those interested in raising awareness for epilepsy. The free EXPO will feature over 100 exhibitors including the newest breakthroughs in medications, technology and more! Experience the 80+  presentations focused on everything from diagnosis and treatment to surgery and therapies, as well as technologies. The FREE Education Expo will be held on November 16th and 17th inside the Disneyland Hotel’s Exhibit Hall and Epilepsy Awareness Day at Disneyland will be held on November 18, 2026, 9:00 a.m. – closing.

If your family would like to attend EADDL and you require financial travel assistance, please complete the application below. Please note, this funding is in the form of reimbursement following the event. If your application is selected, you will be notified by email.

  • If you are selected, you must complete and sign an agreement.
  • Grants will be awarded to reimburse travel related expenses up to maximum of $1,800, including your Disneyland Ticket(s). Reimbursable travel expenses include airfare, hotel, car rental/uber/taxi, gas and parking only. Food expenses and event shirts are not reimbursable. For expenses to be reimbursed, they must be substantiated.
  • All submitted receipts must be related to your EADDL travel only and must be dated.
  • PLEASE NOTE that you are responsible for arranging and covering your travel expenses upfront. Reimbursement from the Danny Did Foundation will be provided after EADDL, once receipts are submitted, and is not expected until December 2026.
  • Hotel stay reimbursement may only include the NIGHTS of 11/15/2026, 11/16/2026, 11/17/2026 and 11/18/2026. If you extend your trip, you will need to cover your expenses. For reimbursement, all labeled receipts must be mailed to the Danny Did office by December 1, 2026.
  • For those who are awarded a grant, further expense report instructions will be provided.

 NOTE: Anyone is welcome to apply, but support will be prioritized for those who have not received prior funding.

The person completing and signing this application must be the adult living with epilepsy who is seeking assistance, OR the parent/legal guardian or primary caregiver for the person with epilepsy who is seeking assistance.  Please note, you will see a confirmation screen after you apply successfully, but there is no immediate automated confirmation email sent to you.
