Two girls varsity basketball games for epilepsy awareness

DETAILS: The 2019 Mother McAuley Invitational features four top girls basketball programs, all dedicated to raising epilepsy awareness with the Danny Did Foundation. Tickets are just $5 for adults and $3 for students. The game match-ups feature:

12:30 pm: Providence vs. St. Ignatius

2 pm: Mother McAuley vs. Loyola Academy

HOW TO SUPPORT: The participating schools encourage fans to support this event via a donation to the Danny Did Foundation here, and/or by purchasing an event t-shirt on site at the games, with proceeds to benefit Danny Did.

EVENT ROOTS: Danny's mom Mariann is a former standout basketball player at Mother McAuley (class of '88) and Loyola University ('92). She and and her husband Mike started the Danny Did Foundation after their son Danny died at age 4, following a seizure that occurred during his sleep.

The Foundation works to works to provide awareness and education around epilepsy, and the risk of Sudden Unexpected Death in Epilepsy (SUDEP).
