Free PAME Webinar: A New Toolkit To Save Lives

PAME-logo-large
Tuesday, March 28, 2023
12:00 PM - 01:00 PM

Partners Against Mortality in Epilepsy presents this free webinar patients, caregivers, advocates and providers.

DETAILS: All are invited to a free, 60-minute webinar from Partners Against Morality in Epilepsy (PAME), to learn how a new toolkit resource can improve provider and patient communication and reduce the risk of premature epilepsy mortality. In 2022, the Child Neurology Foundation led a group of people with lived experience and experts in the epilepsy community from the US, Canada, and the UK to collaboratively create the Preventing Epilepsy Deaths: Clinician Toolkit. The goal is to help educate clinicians on how to talk with families and people living with epilepsy about addressing epilepsy mortality risk factors.

The speaker panel will feature Dr Shawna Benard of the University of Southern California; Dr. Daniel Freedman of Dell Medical School; and Cyndi Wright of the Child Neurology Foundation. Our Danny Did Foundation President Tom Stanton will serve as moderator.

All stakeholders are welcome to attend free PAME webinars. Most webinars are geared towards PAME’s multiple audiences. While some content might be technical, PAME strives to educate all who are interested.

FREE REGISTRATION: Click here to register for this webinar on March 28th at 12 pm CST. Once you sign up, you will receive details to join the Zoom event. A recording of the webinar will be circulated after the event.
