Diane's Swim Marathon for Danny Did

Monday, August 15, 2022 - Thursday, September 15, 2022
08:00 AM - 11:59 PM

Our Danny Did board member is making waves to protect people with epilepsy and to help prevent SUDEP.

DETAILS: Our fearless Danny Did board member Diane Garvey will be swimming her 2nd Annual pool marathon distance (26.2 miles) in increments of one mile per day. In writing about her motivation she says, "Shortly after Danny Stanton died, I saw banners up in our local neighborhood stores that read: We Love You Danny. How devastating and heartbreaking for the Stanton family and our community. As a parent, one can't imagine the loss."

To raise awareness and funds for the nonprofit that was started in Danny's name, Diane is putting her mind, body and spirit to this 26-mile challenge for the 1 in 26 Americans who will develop epilepsy.
