DETAILS: We are proud to host our 10th Annual "Evening of Hearts & Hugs" on Saturday November 9th. Gratitude fills our hearts as we reach a decade serving the epilepsy community in Danny's memory. Due to the generosity of our supporters, we have assisted families facing epilepsy spanning all 50 states and 12 countries. Yet, there remains a huge unmet need, and we look to increase our impact in the years ahead. This night of charity will allow us to continue on our mission to prevent deaths caused by seizures.
Please join us on the shore of Lake Michigan to celebrate progress against Epilepsy and SUDEP and to raise funds to support the millions of families who face the uncertainty, fear and isolation that can accompany life with seizures. The dollars we raise will change lives for the better.
Format: Cocktails and small plates; a silent auction and a fund-a-need special appeal; live music from the Whitney Young High School Jazz Ensemble. We are proud to welcome Mike Lowe from WGN news as our emcee.
Hearts & Hugs will include a "Fund a Cause" paddle raise segment. We are excited to have Keith Jones of Sayles & Jones Auctioneers to host this portion.
Reminder, this is not a reserved seating event.

REGISTRATION: Online here. On October 23rd, tickets will increase from $175 to $200.
New in 2019: We have a limited number VIP tables available for $300 per ticket. These tables will feature reserved seating, a private bar, and dedicated waitstaff. Email mduffy@dannydid.org for details.
ONLINE SILENT AUCTION: Bidding is online and by smart phone, coming soon. Participants do not need to be present to place bids or to win.

DROP OFFS: There is a circle drive in front of Theater on the Lake for convenient drop offs from taxis or Uber.
SELF PARK: Available in the Lincoln Park Zoo parking lot just south of Fullerton Ave.
*To access this parking lot, turn south off Fullerton onto Cannon Drive. After you take a ticket at the gate, the lot will be on your left.
*Once you park, you will see Hearts & Hugs signage guiding you to cross to the north side of Fullerton via an underpass walkway. After crossing, walk east to the venue.
*Be sure to request a validation sticker at the event check-in table for a $17 rate.
VALET: Valet parking will be available in the circle drive in front of the venue for $27 and is CASH ONLY.
