February 25, 2012: Loyola University Men’s Basketball Game & Bake Sale
Bring your whole gang for this fun family event, hosted by Loyola University and highlighted by the Rambler’s men’s basketball team squaring off against conference foe Milwaukee for a 3 pm tip. During the game, be sure to stop by the Bake For Danny bake sale in the concourse. We’ll also be holding a prize raffle during the game, so be on the lookout. Family friendly game tickets range from $5-$15. We hope to see you there! Special thanks to Loyola University and Rambler head coach Porter Moser for supporting our cause.
May 12, 2012: Magellan Chicago Spring Half Marathon, 10K & Junior Dash
Chicago area friends: not quite ready for a full marathon but still interested to be a part of Team Danny Did? The Magellan Development Chicago Spring Half Marathon (13.1 miles) or the 10K (6.2 miles) on Saturday May 12th could be just the fit. If you want to make it a family affair, sign up the kids (ages 2-12) for the Junior Dash! To participate to support Danny Did, first register for race here, then visit www.events.org/teamdanny to set up your online fundraising page for Team Danny. Adults and kids are welcome to set up their own separate fundraising pages, or create one for the whole family! This event starts at The Park at Lake Shore East, with a beautiful course along Chicago’s lakefront.
May 19, 2012: 3rd Annual Evening of Hearts & Hugs at Misericordia
Register today for our 3rd annual signature event! An Evening of Hearts & Hugs will be held in the Jean Marie Ryan Center at Misericordia (6300 N. Ridge, Chicago) from 6- 10 pm on Saturday May 19th. Tickets are $80 and advance online registration is encouraged and greatly appreciated. Tickets at the door will be $90. October 7, 2012: Team Danny Did in the 2012 Bank of America Chicago Marathon
Online registration for the 2012 Bank of America Chicago Marathon closed in record time – only six days! – but there is still a way to be a part of the 45,000-runner field in the world’s second largest marathon if you run for Team Danny Did! Team Danny Did members participate in the marathon to raise funds and awareness for the DDF, and we would love to have you as a part of it. Benefits include a free race entry ($150 value), a free 18-week training program and a free one-year membership to the Chicago Area Runner’s Association (CARA), a $205 value.
