DETAILS: The 5th Annual Epilepsy Awareness Day at Disneyland Resort will take place on November 8, 2017. All families and advocates are invited to attend this event and join the epilepsy community to turn Disneyland purple! Epilepsy Awareness Day at Disneyland was founded by parents Brad and Candy Levy as an awareness-building tribute to their 15 year-old daughter Sofie, who is now seven years seizure free. More than 1,200 supporters attended in 2016. With your help, we can top that number this fall, while advancing awareness of epilepsy in partnership with the iconic Disney brand. Danny Did is excited to once again be a partner to this event.
EVENT EXPO: The free EXPO will be held at The Disneyland Hotel from 3-7 pm on November 6th and 10 am - 5 pm on November 7th. The Expo will feature over 50 non-profit Epilepsy support groups, hospitals with Epilepsy programs and vendors who service the Epilepsy community. The goal for the EXPO is to give the Epilepsy community a chance to unite in a setting with ample time to network with other families who share similar conditions, learn about new treatments and products, and hopefully, create long term relationships with other families affected by epilepsy.
