Hi my name is Santana Brown. Like half the people in my family I suffer from epilepsy. I have just recently started having seizures in my sleep. Last year in October 2009 my mom’s little sister died in her sleep from SUDEP. She is missed and we know what you are going through. It is hard but I believe together we can make a change.

I’m sorry and it will get better. You will never forget that loved boy. I have a son that was born with a brain tumor. He has lots of seizures and has had two surgeries. I am very lucky to still have my best friend with me today. Wish you all the best.

I am sending out the funding letters today. My little boy, age three, was diagnosed with epilepsy in December 2009. It has been an incredibly trying seven months, six months of which we were struggling to get his seizures under control. Thank you for your strength and advocacy for all of our children.

Hey Danny! A little girl named Alina and her parents decided that rather than gifts for her birthday, they wanted donations to be made to the DDF – pretty cool, huh? Her parents told lots of people what a special little guy you are in the invitation, and now even more people have you in their hearts – lucky them! xox
