Advocate for Epilepsy Funding
Hey! Danny Stanton Did Get In The Game. The game of life. The game of living. The game of being involved. Like we say, Danny Did Engage Others In His Life. And although Danny is not here in body anymore, his presence in this world is stronger than ever: he is an undeniable force.
You too, can Get In The Game via the Danny Did Foundation’s Get in the Game to Advocate for Epilepsy Funding campaign.
Here’s a fact: 3,000,000 people in the United States have epilepsy. Another fact: 50,000 people die from seizures every year in the United States. And yet another: 45,000 children under the age of 15 are diagnosed with epilepsy every year in the United States. And we know that funding for epilepsy-related issues lags far behind many other deadly afflictions.
So don’t hold back, every letter counts. Write to your President, your federal Senators and House Representatives, your governor, your state Senators and House Representatives. Please feel free to DOWNLOAD THIS LETTER to serve as your correspondence to your representatives.

Hi my name is Santana Brown. Like half the people in my family I suffer from epilepsy. I have just recently started having seizures in my sleep. Last year in October 2009 my mom's little sister died in her sleep from SUDEP. She is missed and we know what you are going through. It is hard but I believe together we can make a change.

I'm sorry and it will get better. You will never forget that loved boy. I have a son that was born with a brain tumor. He has lots of seizures and has had two surgeries. I am very lucky to still have my best friend with me today. Wish you all the best. Hey Danny, can you watch over my son?
